actually paying for it.

Contents:
1. Find the product you want.
There are a couple of ways of ‘Browsing’ or ‘Searching’ to find the product(s) that you want to order. The first way is simply choose which type of product you want from the tabs at the top of the page, e.g. Champagne, then use the navigation links on the left of the page to view the various categories, e.g. ‘Single bottle gifts’, which you can refine even more to see just the non vintage bottles by clicking the relevant links.
The products in that ‘Category’ will then be shown in a clear list which you can ‘sort’ using the drop down menu, so for example you could choose to see the products listed from the cheapest to the most expensive or vice versa.
You can add a product to your ‘Basket’ straight from that page, or by clicking the product name link or ‘MORE INFO’ button you can see more details about the product on its description page, which shows things like tasting notes, customer reviews and related products.
To ‘Search’ for a product, just type the name of the product you are looking for into the ‘Search Box’ at the top of the page and click the ‘Search’ button. Again the products will be shown in a list that matches you search term.
Finally, if you have no idea where to start, you can use our unique ‘Gift Wizard’ by clicking the box which is usually found on the left of the page. This great tool asks you a couple of questions about what you want to send and who is receiving the gift, and then gives you a list of ideas to match your answers. 2. Add a product to your
‘Basket’.
Once you have found the product(s) that you want to order, simply click the ‘Buy Now’ button on either the list page or product details page and the product will be added to you virtual ‘Basket’. This works just like a shopping basket in a super market, enabling you to add or remove items that you find around the store.
A summary of the number of items you have in your ‘Basket’ and the total value is shown at the top right of every page, and you can view your ‘Basket’s’ contents at any time just by clicking the link shown.
From the BASKET page, you can change the quantities of items in your ‘Basket’, remove unwanted items, move items to your ‘Wish list’ (this allows you to save items to order later), or simply continue shopping
and add more items to your basket.

3. Checkout.
Once you have all the items you need to
purchase in your BASKET,
please check all the items that you want to order and make any
adjustments, e.g. quantity.
When you are happy that all the details
are correct, please click the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button where you
will be taken to the first page of the Checkout process, which is
where you enter your own details first.
Indeed, unlike many other websites, even if you get
to the end of the checkout and realise you have forgotten something,
or need to make an amendment, you can still do so just by clicking
the relevant ‘Edit’ button on the page. Depending on how far you
have proceeded, all your personal information will be available for
editing, although you ‘may’ have to re-enter some information
if you change or update some of the details of the order.

4. Your account details &
Billing details.
If you have not previously registered your details or
shopped with us before, we will need to take some information about you first,
as the person who is placing the order, even if you are placing the order on
behalf of someone else.
Returning customers simply enter their
email address and password. All order confirmations and
information relating to any orders will be linked to your email
address and a unique customer number. Any information you submit
to us will be done over a secure SSL (secure socket layer)
connection and will be treated in the strictest confidence. We
NEVER pass your details to ANY 3rd parties. To view our ‘Privacy
Policy’ please click here…
When you have entered your details, you
will then be able to enter the ‘Billing’ or ‘Invoice’ details if
different from your ‘Account’ address; for example if you are
paying by using a corporate credit card that is registered to
someone else, or your credit card is registered to your home
address, this is where you can enter that information. You can
edit these details at any time either by using your address book
or by clicking the relevant ‘Edit’ link.

5. Delivery address.
On this page you select where to send you
item(s). For single address deliveries you can either add a new
address, (which will be added to your address book), or choose
from any addresses already contained in your Address book.
If you select MULTIPLE delivery, the
items in your basket will be split into individual lines, and
you can choose a delivery address from a drop down to select
which item is going to which address.
For ‘Multiple gift’ deliveries, please

6. Delivery options.
This page shows you the various shipping options
available to you, e.g. if you are sending a bottle of Champagne to a client in
London, (based on the delivery address postcode), you will be able to see the
‘London same day’ options as well as the UK next day services.
The available options and the delivery
pricing are worked out automatically, based on the contents of
your ‘Basket’ and the delivery address. You will also be able to
enter any delivery instructions, e.g. leave safe at back of
house. If you want to have the gift delivered on a specific
date, there is a ‘Calendar function’ that enables you to choose
the date of delivery.*
*For full ‘Delivery pricing’ details,
please click here…
** Please note: this service is only
available for UK deliveries – European deliveries will be made
as close the the requested date as possible, which may be a day
in advance.

This page enables you to add a gift card
from our superb range available, and to enter any gift message
you wish to add.
There is a free gift message option if
you do not wish to buy a card or gift notelet, and if you choose
the free option, your gift message will be included on the
Delivery Note that is included with the order. PLEASE NOTE: that
does not contain any billing information, merely the contents of
the package and any additional delivery instructions.

8. Order summary.
This page shows you all the component parts of your
order, e.g. your Account details, the Billing address, the delivery address,
service and scheduled delivery date, as well as a list of the products you have
ordered.
You can still amend any of the details
from this page, however, once you have gone back to change any
details, depending on how far back in the ‘Checkout process’ you
have gone, will determine which information may need to be
re-entered.
You can then view your favourites by
clicking the link at the top right of the page where you can
either remove products or if you wish add them straight to your
basket.

9. Payment & order
confirmation.
The ‘Payment page’ is where you enter your credit card details.
As with all pages where you are entering sensitive information, this
page in encrypted using the latest 128 bit VeriSign technology to keep all your details secure.
We accept American Express, MasterCard Credit and Maestro debit cards, and Visa credit and debit cards.
You will be asked to enter the long number across the middle of the card, the expiry date and 3 digit security code from the back of the card.
Maestro customers may need to enter additional information, such as ‘Issue no.’ or start date of their card – please note this should be EXACTLY as it appears on the card, e.g. an Issue number of 01 on the card must be entered as “01” not as “1”.
Before placing the order, you will also be able to add an ‘Order reference’ for example a PO number (Purchase Order) for your records which will be added to the order details.
Finally, simply click the ‘Place order’ button and your order will be sent for processing. In the event of there being any problems with your card, (even though we use the most advanced card processing system on the market, occasionally issuing banks can deny card transactions) you will receive a message informing you of the problem.
Please call the sales team on 0845 230 3773 who will be able to offer you assistance to process you payment.
If you have an ‘Invoice account’ with us, you
can pay by choosing the ‘Pay by Invoice’ button.
Once your payment has been processed, which should take a couple of
seconds, you will be taken to the ‘Order confirmation’ page which
will show you the full details of your completed order, including
your unique order reference number.
You can print a copy of these details from this page,
although a full breakdown of you order will be emailed to you
automatically, as well as a VAT receipt or Invoice if requested.
You can always view and print a copy of any of these details
from your ‘Account home page’. Please click here for more info
